Celebration of Ministry 2024
This special worship service celebrates the Commissioning and Ordination of those Called to ministry in the church! Rev. Dr. Japhet Ndhlovu will be presiding. Communion will be offered. Live stream via YouTube. All information is detailed here, in the PMR event calendar: June 2, 2024.
Sunday's Offering is collected for the Student Bursary Fund. This is a grant dedicated to support people in the candidacy program. The fund is operated under Office of Vocation Ministry. Online Offering is here.
Cupcakes & Crack On
St. Andrew's-Welsey United will be serving cupcakes after the service, and a Vancouver food truck company - Crack On! (click for the menu) - will be parked next to the church for you to order light lunch foods from. If the queue is too long, search for "brunch" on Yelp to see what eateries are recommended in the STAW neighbourhood. Enjoy the delicious diversity of worshipping in Downtown Vancouver!

First Third Ministry offers an engaging program for people ages 8 - 14 years during PMR's AGM 2024. The program converges with the larger AGM community throughout the meeting, as well as having time in age-specific gatherings. This is not an overnight program. Read more here...

Our AGM 2024 venue is in downtown Vancouver at, St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, Also known as STAW, the church is located on the South West corner of Burrard and Nelson Streets, next to the Century Plaza Hotel. St. Andrew's-Welsey's main door entrance is on Burrard.
"1022 Nelson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4S7" is the common address to search in your Map App.
- STAW's parkade entrance is from Henshaw Lane.
- The south-running transit stop is SB Burrard St @ Nelson St; Stop ID: 50047
- The north-running transit stop is Burrard and Comox; Stop ID: 61759
Parking & Transit
There are three parking lots nearby:
- the garage in St. Andrew’s-Wesley,
- the adjoining lot next door in the Century Plaza, and
- the Wall Centre.
All will have their own daily rates.
Transit is ideal:
If you’re coming in on the Canada Line, St.AW is around a 5-10 minute walk from Vancouver City Centre Station.
If you’re coming in on the Expo Line, a 10 minute walk from Burrard Station.
St.AW is also on the 2 & 44 bus, and close to all of the Translink routes that go through Granville St.

Travel Policy & Claims
The deadline to submit travel reimbursement claims for the 2024 General Meeting is Monday July 15, 2024.
We encourage registration for the Pacific Mountain Region's Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for a faster, more secure reimbursement method. The link to register is found on the PacificMountain.ca/finance page.
