This email sent today to those signed up to attend Pacific Mountain Region’s 6th Annual General Meeting (around 230 Voting, Non-Voting, Youth Council, and Children & Young Teens Program participants so far!). This information may be of interest to those not attending the AGM too.

• Deadline for Proposals has been extended to Friday May 17, 2024. Details are below.
• A number of opportunities are open on regional sub-councils and areas, and nominations for Executive and Commissioners to general council are still seeking names.
• Registration for the AGM is required for online-only participation. If you are expecting to attend the gathering only online, please be sure you are registered suitably.

Call for Proposals!

Do you have an idea for a way to strengthen the United Church? If so, please consider preparing a proposal to be brought to Pacific Mountain Regional Council’s 6th Annual General Meeting!

This year’s AGM will be hearing Proposals:

• to Regional Council
• to General Council
• to both Regional and General Council – same Proposal for both levels of governance

Proposals have a set format that is outlined in the Proposals form.

Deadline to submit Proposals has been extended. Instead of Sunday May 5th, 2024 deadline, please submit Proposals by Friday May 17, 2024.
