Unique Offerings & Initiatives This Year

Jacqui Lewis ~ Keynote Presenter

The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis comes to us with a desire to use her gifts to help create an antiracist, just, gun violence free, fully welcoming, and gender-affirming society. We're excited to see what Jacqui has to teach us as we gather in June!

Service of Lament

As part of the worship time at the PMRC annual meeting, we will hold a service of lament and call for the ongoing traumatic legacy of Residential Schools, in which the United Church played an active role. We will specifically acknowledge the unmarked graves confirmed at the Port Alberni Residential School, earlier this year.

Friday June 2, 2023 (evening session time), with Rev. Tony Snow &  GM2023 Worship Team

Donations to Support Local University Students!

Campus United LogoAdd to your packing list for the AGM a non-perishable food item (canned veggie, pasta, quinoa, rice, crackers, etc). Students across the country are experiencing food insecurity at increasingly high levels and Campus United (PMRC Campus Ministry) makes food giveaways and community meals a part of their ministry. Drop the item by the Campus United booth anytime during the AGM. If your bag is too full, donate instead at campusunited.ca to support the programs at our campuses (that often include free food).
