I wanted to take a moment to update you about what’s happening with Regional Staff. We are doing our own little cabinet shuffle!
Changes to Lower Mainland East and Thompson-Okanagan Kootenay Areas
On October 16 we will welcome back Regional Minister Kathy Davies from her Sabbatical. Upon her return, Kathy will serve the Thompson-Okanagan and Kootenay areas and Allison Rennie will be moving from their Thompson-Okanagan Regional Minister role to focus on .5 time with Leadershift (at Allison’s request). You will see that we have posted the Regional Minister position for the Lower Mainland East. Please consider if this might be a call for you to join the Regional Staff team!
Islands & Sunshine Coast Coverage
Gail Miller is on Sabbatical and will return on December 1, 2021. Deb Bowman is filling in for sabbatical coverage, and while we conduct the search for the Lower Mainland East position. We are grateful that Deb has been able to serve in this way.

Other Staffing News
Our First Third Ministry team is all in place now, and having completed a full summer of Camp Spirit, have now returned after some well-deserved time off! We are excited about their plans for the year and the ways in which this team helps us fulfill our Mission here in PMRC. The Confirmation Course FaithQuest begins this weekend (and there is still time to sign up).
We welcomed Jane Dawson to our staff team as Regional Minister for Justice on August 1, 2021. She is a wonderful addition to the staff team, and we look forward to her leadership to facilitate the focus on our call to Faithful Public Witness.
Many of you know that I have been dealing with a health issue this fall. I am awaiting medical appointments, which requires more patience than I have… but I feel well. Please know how much I appreciate your care and your prayers.
