Dear friends,
The ProVision Fund Committee of Pacific Mountain Regional Council would like to remind all in the region that it is full operation for 2022 — there are funds available for grants for new ministry projects. Communities of faith, ministries, clusters and networks may apply for grants.
The committee accepts applications which arrive prior to the deadlines of February 15, May 15 and October 15.
Criteria for funding, procedures and the Application Form are all available here on the PMRC website. The ProVision Fund committee and the regional staff administering these grants follow closely the established criteria and procedures.
In 2022, all applications will be considered by the Region Council’s ProVision Fund Committee (except those from the Victoria Area, which will continue on its own until the end of 2022.)
Please note that the previous ProVision Fund committees in the areas of Comox-Nanaimo, Fraser, Vancouver-Burrard and Westminster have coalesced into the Regional Council’s ProVision Fund committee. Also, recipients of grants made by these committees through 2019, 2020, and 2021 will be fully honoured by the new committee administration so that any holdback or unclaimed funds will be available as per previous procedures and policies.
The Regional Council ProVision Fund Committee is keen to receive applications and invites communities of faith etc. to explore new opportunities for ministry and service, in keeping with the stated priorities of the Regional Council.
We hope to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Michael Caveney, Chair, ProVision Fund Committee
