Amir Hussain, a Canadian Muslim, is Chair and Professor of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University, the Jesuit university in Los Angeles. He teaches courses on religion, with a focus on contemporary Muslim societies in North America. Amir has a long involvement with the United Church of Canada. He is an adherent member of Trinity – St. Paul’s in Toronto, and most recently taught an online course this summer at the Naramata Centre.
