This Advent, our trans siblings are facing an alarming resurgence of anti-trans hate, legislation, violence and denial of medical care. We are seeing this beyond the shores of Turtle Island, we are seeing this in the United States, we are seeing this in our own country, and especially are aware of the advances of anti-trans hate legislation and policy in our neighbour province, Alberta. Be aware that there are legislators and leaders in our own communities and constituencies who would advocate for similar policies to unfold, and we cannot allow it to happen.
