Friends, please see this invitation from Andrew Richardson, Vocation Minister for UCCan Atlantic Regions:
Solidarity Circles: A peer network of clergy, faith leaders and organizers interested in the solidarity economy.
“Are you passionate about building a more equitable and sustainable future? You are invited to join the Solidarity Circles — a transformative 9-month leadership training program aimed at empowering individuals to align their institutions and communities with the principles of the Solidarity Economy.
Broadly understood, the cooperative and solidarity economy are ways of addressing longstanding economic inequalities within our society, including white supremacy and gender and sex inequities. As part of its commitment to collaborative ministry that engages local communities, the program is a unique partnership between the United Church and the Wendland-Cooke Institute (Vanderbilt University Divinity School).
Solidarity Circles are virtual peer-networks for faith leaders, organizers, clergy, and members of the community interested in the cooperative and solidarity economy and its multiple relations to faith.
The cost is $250 USD for the first thirty participants.
