Celebrating Lunar New Year at the PMRC

Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is celebrated by numerous Asian cultures around the world and is a major holiday for those communities.

As we transition from the year of the tiger, a powerful period of action, to the year of the rabbit, we can expect this year to be more peaceful.

This year we celebrated the Lunar New Year by having dim sum, making our annual dumplings and tang yuan dessert with the kids, and having New Year feast with our family.

Wishing you a prosperous, healthy and successful year of the rabbit filled with love and laughter!

Here are some photos from two of our staff members at the Pacific Mountain Regional Council, Lixin and Houston who prepared beautiful meals and celebrations with their families.

If you have photos of any Lunar New Year celebrations you hosted or attended feel welcome to post ant photos in the comment section. We would love to see them!
