Camp Director
The Camp Director must be able to undertake and implement the intent of the Mission Statement of the Camp and the purpose and goals of United Church Camping. The Camp Director is responsible directly to the Board of The MacKenzie Camp Society, and must uphold all decisions and policies made by The Society. The Camp Director is responsible for the overall direction and management of the camp, in accordance with the employment contract. The Camp Director has authority over all matters relating to safety and well-being of campers, staff, volunteers and visitors, for the duration of his/her contract. The duties of the Director may be retained or divided between the Camp Director and the Assistant Camp Director (or Co-Director). The Camp Director will make decisions with regards to changes in programming in the event of inclement weather that poses significant risk to campers.
Remuneration & Hours
- Contract position: 16 weeks
- Wage: $1,040 per week
- In-person
- Start date: Friday May 1, 2026
- End Date: Friday August 21, 2026
