Friends,
There are ways to gather beyond our communities of faith, as people of Christ in our United of Church denomination:
- Clusters are formed when communities of faith who identify with each other based on where they are physically located (sharing a common geographical feature that gives sense of place – whether city, mountain range, coast line, rural setting, etc).
- Networks are formed when United Church people come together, with shared passion or energy for an area of calling or action. At the 4th Annual General Meeting, those in person and online are invited to connect as Clusters and Networks at these designated times (though you certainly can initiate other meet ups and ways to connect too!).
At the June 2022 General Meeting of the PMRC, there will be space made for Clusters and Networks to meet – in person, AND ALSO online – using the Whova Event Platform (using their feature called “Roundtable”, facilitated by LeaderSHIFT.
- On Friday June 9th, Clusters will be encouraged to gather for lunch, or during the lunch break.
- On Saturday Jun10th, Networks will be encouraged to gather for lunch, or during the lunch break.
The specifics of these meets ups will be announced once the GM begins, and hopefully this post will be updated with the details too!
Also! In case you haven’t found it yet –Â this is where some information about Groups, Clusters and Networks in our PMRC is shared on the PacificMountain.ca website.
