Attached you will find a very attractive poster for you to print and display in various spots around your church.
Also attached is the Registration form and the DRAFT agenda. Note this if only a draft at this point.
You will notice that the registration fee for the AGM simply covers the cost of meals – nothing else.
Your executive decided that as we are thankful to have a healthy bank balance, which after all, is money that you have raised and passed on to the Pacific Mountain (formerly British Columbia Conference) UCW over the past years, that it should be used to cover the other costs of putting on an event such as this.
A travel allowance will be paid if requested and other expenses include, honoraria for our guest presenters and those who are assisting at the meeting (audio visual assistant, musician, entertainers, etc), also the cost of printing the report book which you will all receive a copy of at the meeting. These are all expenses which will be covered from our current bank account.
As you will notice on the registration form there is only one hotel listed and you are to make your own reservation. The hotel apparently has 2 wings one with, and one without, an elevator. It is suggested that you request a room in the wing with the elevator!!

Special Note:
As you are likely already aware we are so fortunate to have joining us, The Rt. Reverend Dr. Carmen Lansdowne, moderator of our church and Barbara Davison, National UCW President.
The Reverend Lansdowne will be speaking on Saturday morning and an invitation is extended to all who wish to attend her presentation and to join us for the service of Holy Communion at which she will officiate.
Throughout our gathering we will have a book table set up and you are requested to bring and leave on the table any books which you feel may be of interest to others. If you see a book which you would like, please take it and leave a donation in the basket on the table. These donations will then be forwarded to “The Healing Fund” which is the current National UCW special Anniversary Project.
The ladies of Trinity United are hard at work planning to make this a really good gathering and so please do your bit to get the word out. We are looking forward to a good turnout on April 26-27.
