Making Room for Women

Making Room For Women logoMaking Room for Women is a coordinated effort to identify and preserve personal papers of women in The United Church of Canada, and the records of organizations in which they have participated.

An important part of this initiative is an oral history program.  Some of the interviews are available here for you to enjoy.

In 1985, CBC, along with the United Church, made a video on the Thomas Crosby Marine Mission, directed by Tony Wade.

The Archives holds a collection of recorded interviews conducted by the United Church History Seekers as part the Heritage Alive Project.  In some cases, the sound quality is poor because of the original recording equipment and/or the age of the tapes. Here is what we have to date.
