Jane Dawson, Regional Minister: Justice (she/her)
My primary work as Regional Minister for Justice is supporting and connecting United Church Communities of Faith and people who are engaged in the social justice work of the church, in the Pacific Mountain Regional Council.
One important aspect of my role is to also explore the theological and scriptural grounding that guides our actions for peace, equity and compassion. This excites me greatly.
The information on this page will change as the work, mission and community of people passionate about social justice in the regional council meets here. For information on PMRC justice initiatives, and to submit Justice events to the newsletter, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Alexandra Barr, Admin Support for Justice (she/her)
In addition to my work as Receptionist and Admin Support for the Indigenous Minister, I support Jane in her Justice work. I operate primarily behind-the-scenes, working on the website, the newsletter, and creating some of the visual elements you see.
Justice is something that is very close to my heart, and I enjoy that I can work towards making the world a better place through my work.

Just Conversations
Justice work in the church can often feel lonely and discouraging, working for change that doesn’t come easily, if it comes at all. Just Conversations is a monthly online gathering for anyone in PMRC wanting to connect with others involved with justice work around the region. It will be a chance to deepen your justice work in your faith, share stories about what is happening around the region and develop strategies for working together to support each other in “being the change.”
Just Conversations will take place on the third Thursday of every month, from 10-11:30am Pacific / 11am-12:30pm Mountain. It's free, and drop-in style, open to ministry personnel and congregation members. To register, or for more info on upcoming gatherings, check out the calendar.
