On the eve of National Indigenous Peoples Day\, we look at the history and significance of this day and it’s also an opportunity to share community events we may be attending on Wednesday\, June 21. \nWe moved the Right Relations Circle to a week earlier than the usual 4th Tuesday of the month to honour and prepare ourselves for National Indigenous Peoples Day. Each month\, we gather for conversation\, and connection\, as we learn how to live out the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. \nWe’re meeting on Zoom at 7 pm. DESCRIPTION:Seven Weeks of Camp Spirit\, across BC!\n\n\nREGISTER HERE! \nCamp Spirit celebrates your child’s journey of Wonder with two age-specific program streams offered in different cities\, towns and villages across BC and the Yukon! Our first week of camp starts on July 10\, and our last week of camp starts on August 21. Our camp locations are provided by host-United Churches in the town. We share their space for our week of camp. We love the connections that sharing space builds! The camp day usually starts at 9am and usually ends at 3pm\, Monday – Friday. Some of our camps are only 4 days long.
