Ministry of Family and Care [Sabbatical Leave]

Gilmore Park United is seeking to fill a temporary position while our Minister of Family and Care is on sabbatical. This position focuses on Ministry to Families, Children & Youth and Pastoral Care and the successful applicant will work collaboratively in a team with the Ordained Minister and both provide leadership in worship. This position is open to all with experience and interest.
Our children and family ministry has grown with several new families joining us lately. Additionally a new program jointly supported by 5 local churches (Lutheran, United and Anglican) called Faith and Families has been successful. Camp Spirit was a great success and well supported by the congregation last summer. We plan to host a camp again this year.
We have active Congregational Life and Pastoral Care teams that are supported by our Minister of Family and Care.
We strongly value our Ministry to families, children and youth at Gilmore Park and wish to continue to provide quality leadership during this sabbatical break.
This position is from May 1 to October 9, 2023 including orientation.
This position can be part or full-time depending on the skills, interest and availability of the applicant.
